Tesla Model X

For some time now we were aware Tesla were making a 7 seater SUV, I have had the opportunity to attend the unveiling of the Tesla Model X in UK Heathrow showroom. Release date of the Tesla Model X is set to be around mid-2016 in US and early 2017 in the UK, The Specs on this car is very similar to their previous Model S with a few added extras, first impressions on the Model X was amazing!! Easy to the eye beautiful body lines, the shape of the Model X is similar to the Model S but supersized.

A upgrade from the first Tesla Model S, is the HEPA filter, the filter works efficiently by filtering in fresh air inside the cabin, so if you have hayfever you will love this, filtering pollen, bacteria, viruses and pollution pumping in fresh air, to top it all off, a bioweapon defence system that makes positive pressure inside the cabin to protect the passengers.

The safety of Tesla Vehicles have always been at the pinnacle of their development, although Tesla are still waiting for their full report on the safety from NCAP, rest assured when Tesla tested the Model X, they say it should be the first SUV to receive the highest safety rating, with active sensors that scan surrounding area with cameras and radars, enable the Model X to apply the brakes during an emergency.

The Model X has beautiful falcon doors which allow the middle and back row easy access getting in and out. The shape of the body is aerodynamically designed  to reduce drag and increase range of the battery, you also get an amazing view from inside the cabin, the Model X has by far the largest panoramic windshield window, so your passengers can also enjoy the view in front and above their head, the backseat is the new front seat.

So at the end of the day externally and internally the car is stunning, but what about the specs and prices on the Model X, the price is set to be around £65,000 in UK and around $80,000, all of the Model X is believed to have all wheel drive.
